    Costa Helped Me Become Published

The long awaited novel’s “The Brotherhood Of The Realms” and “On A Storyteller’s Night” by Writer/Author, Marcus De Storm, would never have been possible, if it wasn’t for Costa Coffee House in Wetherby. This was according to the Author himself who placed a Blog Blurb on the internet.

‘Due to the assistance of Wi-Fi and the laid back comfortable conditions that Wetherby Costa gave me, I was able to complete two of the twenty-five novel’s which accompany the series of “On A Storyteller’s Night”, which also includes the Pilot novel. I would be pleased to share this information with any other Writer/Author, who is looking for that special place to chillax and write their works and projects.’ Marcus wrote.

Wetherby Costa Coffee House which is situated next to the Wetherby Bus Station has been the local watering hole for Marcus De Storm during the two year project, as well as the creation of “The Storm Writer’s Circle”, which has been set up to help other Writer’s and Author’s find sources of Publishing needs.

‘Its hard to believe that two years ago, my wife and I walked into Wetherby Costa Coffee House and immediately became comfortable – as comfortable as an executive revisiting their own favoured Wine Bar and being greeted with a smile of service. With Wetherby Costa, the entire transformation from our usual Café – The Gourmet situated on the Shambles, Wetherby – where they talked about getting Wi-Fi for the many computer workers that visit the establishment, but alas did not take the initiative; with more than 68% of Café’s and Coffee Houses now catering with free Wi-Fi and Internet Access, sales projections alone have doubled (even tripled) in many areas where the lack of the 21st Century technology has shown a mass slump.’

So, why Costa Coffee House, if the availability of Wi-Fi was not there?

‘The bottom line here is not the fact that ALL Costa Coffee Houses offer free Wi-Fi and Internet Access, it is the all-around feel of the establishment, the attitudes of the staff that work there and, a mutual sense that it almost like “Home from home”, whichever way you want to look at it. When my company began the “Great Latte Tour” more than two years ago, we found that out of eight Café’s in Wetherby, only three were compatible with the challenge results. Costa Coffee House has remained Storm Multi-Media Technologies Ltd number one Coffee House, while still in second place is The Gourmet on The Shambles in Wetherby. For the Café to become best known for its unique tastes, surroundings and approach of the staff in general, they have to work for the benefits or the prize – and Costa has succeeded in all of these challenges and necessities.’

    Future Directions

With several novel’s destined for publication throughout 2012, we asked what the future holds and which direction the whole Author status is going to go?

‘There are some 53 writing Projects associated with my name, and five of these Projects are to be completed within the year (2012). With global sales climbing each week of “The Brotherhood” and that of “On A Storyteller’s Night Book 1” on eBook, the main emphasis is now directing toward a new release which is not Crime/Gore/Horror, but Sci-Fi. Of course, the new Project details will be released very soon, but until then, I can safely say that there are enough covered topics and categorised Story-Shorts and Novels in my locker that will serve as entertainment for everyone. With the help and assistance of Costa Coffee House in Wetherby, where I can purchase my wake up Latte, chillax and complete a chapter or two in the forty-five minutes that I am welcomed there, then the world will see much of the work I have to share.’

As announced by Marcus De Storm, the new novel “On A Storyteller’s Night Book 1: The Beginning” will be released on schedule for the 1st June 2012 in Paperback format, and one month later Book 2: The Sanctum, will be released to eBook first where it will follow shortly after in Paperback, too, but no firm date has been set by the Writer. Until then, we have to make do with the mysteries of the two novels already available and await the new Project.

    In The Beginning

Marcus Chance has lived life to the edge of mankind. Through his youth he has explored and escaped from the pure human hell that fate has had to throw at him, and now, within the blink of an eye he has ascended into something bigger than mankind can ever comprehend…Hell On Earth.

At the age of 12, Marcus Chance was given one of three choices for his crimes against the public, the first obviously being the first option of freedom. The others were basically institutionalism or as near to death as you could get.

There were things that Chance had witnessed, seen with his very own eyes and first hand, too. The judge and prosecution had pretty much taken the lead in his progressive and interesting life, after all, Chance was some kind of unique catch for the Courts of Justice. Since he was 10 years old, Marcus’s future was guided to the here and now by interested parties. It was always rumoured that there was something seen stood behind him once, but through time all that was classed as myth and so disregarded by everyone under the age of 16.

Of course, the teaming up with C.I.B (Criminal Investigation Bureau) would mean a lot less leash and more hours put into the job. Chance was a young man with many talents, taught onto him by his friends within the two cities before him. The Maze in the middle, while all around were those who had declared war on the Criminal World, including Seacliffe’s Elite Force for total clean up operations – C.I.B.

The Maze played a major part in the downfall of its last Dictator, who was much a cowboy than hero. And, thanks to Chance being the bait, not the guide for his partner, Steel, who has accepted the job from Calvert to go inside The Maze and take down their target. From start to end Chance is pulled further and further into the world that becomes the new day, with the kind of things that you don’t want to see, but forces itself on you anyway.

According to Seacliffe’s hall of records a report show’s that the whole town was built on Hallowed Ground, but the most interesting fact of the sleepy town that everyone craves to leave, is the town also had a hero up until the 20th Century, when the hero suddenly disappeared without a trace. The things that were happening within the town suddenly stopped the day that the protection of the residents was completely open.

One of the main problems with Chance’s future in either C.I.B., or The Circle, is that knowing everything can seriously draw attention to your well being. It is emphasised in each meeting with Donna, the girl from the Temple of Dreams, that Marcus should open his eyes to what it is that is around him. Through this guidance from a place that is neither here nor there, but in between, the road is short and yet still very dangerous.

The Maze is destroyed by both Chance and Steel together with Little Shy Donna, the teen girl they save from an abandoned house. It is the strength and ability to say all the right things that makes Donna a leading asset in the whole story. For Chance the deal for freedom was made, though they failed to tell the naïve teenager that his wings would be clipped.

After the job is done, both Chance and Steel go after Calvert, to draw the line that day. To end the war. To find closure. When they hit Calvert, they hit him hard and fast without compremise and without mercy.

It is thought for a while that both Chance and Steel are dead, until they emerge from the shadows with a put together army of ruthless gangsters who want their revenge with Calvert.

From leading criminal to DS. Marcus Chance of C.I.B., he became the first junior detective out of Juvenile Hall to command the forefront against serious crime and the constant hunting of hell’s demons.

The Flagship of “On A Storyteller’s Night Vol.1” is “Brotherhood Of The Realms,” with the key story coming from this novel. Marcus Chance was no special boy, he was an innocent that got in the way at the age of 12. His life was intercepted and changed for the purposes of the few, while in the direction he takes it is left unto him and him alone. The one thing that evil can never interfere with is Free Will, and so the game is played eternally through the ages to try and break the defence of this stubborn strength.

The Judge in the Chambers the day that Chance was asked to make his choice was no other than a servant of the Devil, which explains about the options and the sealing of the deal. Calvert’s presence there was only an act, but no normal performance from a man driven by hate and fury to one day kill him! It was obvious that Calvert was a servant of the Devil, too, as he drove Chance and Steel to this place in time. “All Paths Lead Here” is one thing said the most by Chance, especially when the Temple Of Dreams tears him from his world to get him into theirs.

Of course, Calvert has nothing to do with the soul wandering of Chance’s visits to The Temple Of Dreams, to which Marcus believes he is. If it was left down to a mortal man to master this ability, the energy used from the soul of the controller would evaporate into nothingness. It would be that powerful over the human brain and the entire body that not even that of the essence would remain. For the ancients that rule over The Temple Of Dreams, the need for balance is paramount. Without this balance there is Chaos somewhere in the universe, something that is both bad for the Ancients and bad for mankind as a whole, too.

When one of the Ancients die, they’re are taken to a place outside the Temple and given a custom built funeral. After the ceremony they are accepted into the next life – The Dark; a place of myth that takes the souls of Time Champions from all known universes and allows them rest for the big war that lies ahead in time and space. A little like a portal, The Dark is believed to be the next level of understanding for all races. Many have heard rumours that it takes the dead and brings them back to life, where they begin another life to live in appraisal of their achievements in the past one. It is also rumoured that it is the “Valley Of The Gods” for which they travel to, and only here are they offered a world of their own to nurture and allow to grow.

Welcome to “On A Storyteller’s Night Volume 1”

    Introduction

    codebreaker paralax

In 1982, with the knowledge gathered to put together a novel, I created “Rainbow Colours: Into The Rainbow”.  The novel itself was and still is a large reflection of my life, one which I call the “True Autobiography” and one which I look back on every now and again.  Rainbow Colours was not only a book which stripped me down completely, but it was also the only one thing that gave a precise ‘Profile’ of myself, and the details of where, how and when I was brought up.

In the Autumn of 2004, to my complete approval I finished writing “Rainbow Colours 1”, some 18 years in the making and with a lot of sacrifices made, too.  By end of the last page of the last chapter in the first volume, I was ill with exhaustion, as well as under nurished, but all the same it was a major cause for a celebration.  One month after the initial completion of the first volume, I was starting Volume 2.

Due to unavoidable circumstances, it was in the summer of 1998, when I was made redundant from the Leeds Royal Mail on Wellington Street.  I had been working for almost three years there and I was stabbed in the back by both the Letter Sorting Machine and my Union.  It was a rough time, especially as they wanted me to work until January 1st 1999, and then take my redundancy money like a man before walking away.  It was a time for reflection and weighing up of life and it was a time that urged me to think about the future.

Through 1999 I attended Adult College at the East Leeds Family Learning Centre, South Seacroft, Leeds.  It was during this time that I took the time in the morning to type out my newest novel since “Rainbow Colours Vol. 1”.  I had the backing of the college who told me that I could work on the book and do my IT Level 1 course in the afternoon.  Within 3 months I had written what was to be one of the biggest “Anquor” points of a novel’s potential.  “Brotherhood Of The Realms” was no ordinary novel, it was the beginning of the phenominally popular “On A Storyteller Night” Story Shorts that were written for the soul intentions of publishing, but had not made the right attention needed by any publishing house.

Proud of myself for finishing the novel, I decided to gather together all the Story Shorts and blend them into “Brotherhood Of The Realm” and in certain areas I would expand the dialogue for that true feel to what the charactor’s were describing.  The writing became a permanant fixture to that of my imagination, something that only one had influenced me that way – “Rainbow Colours” – and had me churning out story after story.

By 2004, “On A Storyteller’s Night Vol. 1” was completed and the second volume started with more than 15 chapters to each volume.  The whole writing of the second volume had me doing Volume 3, until a need to start Volume 4 came across me like a wave.  I was on fire for the next two and a half years.  Story after story emerged and submerged the pages of the new volumes.  It was rightly noted that in one single day I would be switching back and forth from one story to the other, not worrying about the outcome as I unlatched writer’s block with a calm hand.  This was the time when I thought the worst and came to think that I was in my writer’s peek area, but later found that it was a boost that I had from my Muse, and the only one thing that could have dedicated so much energy for me to carry out the writing’s that I did in such a short time.

“On A Storyteller’s Night Vol.1” is what I refer to as my hidden talent that is awaiting exposure.  The fundamentals of writing have been rewritten in a sandbox alone to prove the theory that street-wise can also merge into society-wise, too.  The stories contained are raw, admittedly, as are all the Story Shorts and Novels that I have written either by hand or typed out with my very own fingers.  In one respect I know that the large bursts of adrenalin, sweat, blood and tears have gave birth to one of the biggest broken down novels ever to have been written.

The one question that was on everybodies mind was of how many volumes would make up the entire collection of “O.A.S.N” and the answer is 12 Volumes, each one consisting of 15 to 20 Story Shorts that are all a direct connection with “Brotherhood Of The Realms 1”.  Hard to believe that in 2008 on this same WebBlog Site I released the entire “O.A.S.N Vol. 1” letter by letter and page by page.

Visitor’s, Fans, Re-Visitor’s and Wanderer’s alike, I give you the Official BlogNovel Site for the reading of “On A Storyteller’s Night Vol. 1”.  May you enjoy your stay and adore the reading of the Story Shorts while you relax with the horror’s that lay before you.  Of course, the site is here for your reading, support and complete pleasure, but I must insist that anyone under the age of 18 contact an adult for advice.

    Thank You for your time.
